 The Special Education Department supports the Granger School District's focus on academic achievement and student preparation for a successful post-secondary life.

This department emphasizes an educational system that combines a rigorous academic program with an exploration of career choices and preparation for all students with disabilities. General Education and Special Education teachers teach to the Washington state standards, adjust instruction, as appropriate, and meet the needs of all students.

This department supports the District primary focus on English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and differentiated instruction. Each school  provides special education instructional support for special education students based on student need. Instructional services may be either direct to the student or consultation services to assist the teacher.
