Serving healthy, nutritious food to our students is our primary goal because we know the importance food has on students' ability to learn.
Presently, we have one school site with a fully equipped kitchen that prepares meals for all of the schools, along with 10 dedicated cafeteria employees ready and eager to prepare delicious, hot meals for our students. All Granger students participate daily in the National School Lunch Program. In addition to the traditional lunch line, we have a salad bar at the high school during the lunch period. The School Breakfast Program is offered at all school sites. We participate in the After-School Snack Program which provides nutritious snacks to our 21st Century Program and the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program
is offered at Roosevelt Elementary School. Food Services also accommodates the needs of children requiring special menus due to food allergies or disabilities.
All Granger students are eligible to receive free breakfast and lunch without filling out an application due to the District participation in the Provision 2.
